Trying to overcome fears

I have been told my many people they wished they had my body frame. I'm not in shape, and I have a large belly, but just about everyone I come in contact with says I should have been a linebacker. I've been thinking that I should join a gym and get into bodybuilding. Part of me feel I owe it to the bodybuilding community at large. I gotta start somewhere though, and having 3 kids makes it even harder.
